It began with a longing for home
Born in Keralam and raised in Goa, we grew up surrounded by the flavours, traditions and food memories of our roots. As life took us to different cities and careers, we kept searching for the authentic tastes that reminded us of home.
And whenever anyone went to Keralam, the rule was the same: don't come back without the chips. So we asked ourselves: why wait for a Malayali friend, when Keralam can come to you?
Three sisters from Keralam
We're Rejani, Rejitha and Sonia. Rejani and Rejitha are homemakers with a deep appreciation for traditional recipes; they bring the authenticity and the care. Sonia spent over two decades in the corporate world before choosing to follow her passion and build a brand rooted in her heritage.
Together, we created Mallu House with a simple mission: to bring authentic Keralam foods and produce to modern homes, through traditional recipes, simple ingredients and honest sourcing.

Where we're going
Banana chips are just the beginning. Our vision goes beyond food: we want to help preserve Keralam's culinary traditions, support local communities, create sustainable livelihoods and introduce a new generation to the wholesome foods that generations before us enjoyed every day.
We work closely with local producers and small businesses across Keralam, because great food starts with great people. As we grow, our commitment won't change: no unnecessary additives, no shortcuts, no compromise on authenticity.
